Lamtrac International Inc. is very much in touch with the community; here are a few of our contributions:
For several years now, Lamtrac International has donated to the New Brunswick Community College Foundation who's main objectives are to invest and administer the property received, and to make grants and gifts to the institution (and its students) in support of its programs and activities.
In June 2007 we cleared a whole wooded land area for the Children's ''Make a Wish'' Foundation.
We are donating to the Marie-Esther High School in Shippagan donations for 5 years for the purchase of a school bus for student's special outings & extracurricular activities.
We also support the Old Timers who raise funds for children who have no money for food at school every day. Their proceeds go directly to the School District who distributes the funds to all the schools in the Acadian Peninsula to pay for the children's breakfasts & lunches.
We contribute to the 'Tree of Hope' Foundation. The annual Campaign is an annual event which furthers the development of the Oncology Centre, improves quality of care for patients staying at the Mgr. Henri-Cormier Lodge and enhances cancer research efforts of the Atlantic Cancer Institute (ACI).
A contribution was made to the Pool Implantation Comity at the UMCS in Shippagan.
We have agreed to donate to the Lamèque Arena for the next 5 years that will allow for expansion and renovations.
